I love the name Everly. or some spell Everleigh. I personally like Everly. What do you think? Honestly? for a girl. Can't find meaning of it anywhere either.
i LOVE it! it was my choice for this baby if it was a girl. i think it's a beautiful, modern update to beverly and i think the nn "evie" or "eva" are lovely. hope you end up using it--i'm pretty sure we are done child-having, so it won't get used by us :-( good luck!
Not crazy about it as a first name at all, it sounds too much like a surname - and I am not fond of surnames on girls because most are masculine. At least you are spelling it correctly! PLEASE don't go the Leigh route - ick!
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Anthony Keidis (of the RHCP) named his son Everly Bear.....Everly because he loves the Everly brothers and likes last names as first names....the Mom came up with the mn Bear.
I try to stear clear of creative celeb names, but that's me and I'm also a huge RHCPs fan.
Everly is cute but please don't spell it Everleigh or Everlee, it looks made up. My DD is Evelyn and has been Evie since before she was born and I love her name and nn!
Re: what do you think of name Everly for girl
To me it sounds like you forgot the B in Beverly.
It doesnt sound terrible though. It could grow on me.

Me too.
Appellation Mountain says that Everly might be linked to the Old English word for "wild boar." Hmmm...

I think it's lovely. Spell it Everly; Everleigh looks ridiculous.
Hate. It sounds trendy and made up.
I love Elodie, which sounds similar but oh so much classier, IMO.
