Don't mislabel a pregnant woman's food!

Last week I picked up a loaf of fresh Irish soda bread (yummmmm!) but when I got home I realized it was made with caraway seeds (noooooooooo!).  I just hate their flavor, blah.  Whole loaf in the trash.

Today, I picked up another loaf, being careful this time, I avoided the ones that were clearly labeled "Irish Soda Bread WITH caraway seeds" and grabbed one without.

So now I am home, all set up with a cup to tea, a piece of soda bread and my DVR and I take a bite chock full of caraway seeds!!!!!

I nearly cried Sad

On top of the severe back pain I have been battling for the last few days and the fact that I am making zero progress in the labor department this is not what I needed.

::Food rant over::

    Ugh! I hate hate hate Caraway seeds! They ruin most "Everything" flavor bagels for me, but I do thorough inspections.

    Helpful PSA: Franz (I'm nearly positive) makes Everything bagels without caraway, the only ones I've found!

    Yes!!!!! Thankful the bagel shop closest to our how is a caraway free zone.  I skip everything bagels unless I know for sure, the flavor is so pervasive I can't get passed it.

  • Yuck... I hate them too! I know this thread wasn't originally about bagels, but Thomas brand makes a caraway-free everything bagel too, for those of us who have to get ours from the grocery store :-)
