Do any pregnant runner out there use support belts, or anything like that?
Although this is my 2nd preg, I didnt take up running until after my first, so I am new to running while preg. Pre-preg I did 3-5 miles everyday... now I do 2-3 miles 3 times a week, and after my runs, my lower belly has been aching a little, I have been thinking about trying a support belt or something like that, and was wondering what experiences other pregnant runner have had?
Re: pregnant runners- support belts?
I asked this same question on the nest (H&F board) and had a lot of women recommend a Gabrialla medium support band. I do not quite need it but will order this one when I do. The best prices are on amazon.com.

Initially, I thought I might invest in a support belt, but I never felt like I needed it. I logged a lot of miles (2 halfs in the first trimester and several 10ks in 2nd & 3rd trimesters). I ran up until 37 weeks and did not feel I needed a belt. I jogged/walked the last 3 weeks.
Just see how you feel working out and if you want/need extra support, then you can purchase a belt. Good luck!
