Someone please remind me I had a baby 3.5 months ago...

DH and I went bowling tonight and were next to this really cute girl, nice hair, thin.  I am seriously having a complex right now!  I still have baby weight (more than I want to admit), my hair is still falling out, and I have a cold, runny nose, no make up.  My DH is awesome about making me feel good about myself, but ahhhhhhh!!!!  Vent over.

  • I just always remind myself MH is awesome he married me and had a baby with me so clearly I am better. Yes I realize how obnoxious it sounds but if you convince yourself it's true who cares!

  • I know girl, it srsly sucks. But we're all going through it, you're not alone! We won't be this way forever. Just take one day at a time :)

  • I feel ya!  I had such unrealistic expectations for my body PP which has made these past 3 months tough...I'm doing what I can to get it to come off, but it won't budge. It will get better...it has to right??!

  • I hear ya. Although I don't have too much more baby weight to lose, my tummy is still super flabby and my whole body is just different. SO and I are getting married in June and I are really hoping I am able to whip my a** into shape by then! I am constantly trying to remind myself that I just had a baby and it is normal to take many months to get your body back. I do try and find time to do my makeup each day and that definitely helps.

  • I'm right there with you.  DH has been so supportive, but last night we were surfing through old pics and came across one where I was at my lowest weight.  He said "wow, I never realized how skinny you were."  I about punched him.

Remember 9 months up, 9 months down.  At least that's what I tell myself.

  • It's almost harder when you don't have LO with you because you feel like people should know you just had a baby. You want to walk up and tell them that there is a reason you look the way you do.

But, seriously, you're being too hard on yourself. You'll get it back and that LO thinks you are the most beautiful mommy in the world.
