Johnson & Johnson Products?

Hi girls-

Ya'll are so full of good knowledge and I wanted to hear your opinion on this.  I use California Baby bodywash and lotion for DD.  But I got tons of Johnson & Johnson bath/lotion products for shower presents...and I wondered what is wrong with them.  I hate to just get rid of all of them, but I know they're probably not the best for DD.  Forgive my ignorance!!!  If they're horrible, then tell me.  If they're ok, tell me too...maybe I'll use them!  I just want to use what's best for her.   Please share your knowledge.  :)  TIA!

Re: Johnson & Johnson Products?

  • I am the same as you. I use CA Baby but have a butt load of J&J stuff that I got for presents.  I'm keeping those for backups, for travel, or for myself.  J&J has a lot of added ingredients.
  • Loading the player...
  • parabens & other nasty chemicals and perfumes
  • All the additives make it actually very harsh.  It stings the heck out of my skin, so I can't imagine what it must do to my baby's skin.

  •  I've use J&J since DS was born.  We can afford it and he doesn't have sensitive skin. I have some Aveeno that I use for wipe solution and my mom brought me some CA baby but we can't afford that stuff!  I've been looking for something I can buy easily anywhere that's better and not super expensive... Once the J&J is gone we might switch to Aveeno.
  • sorry - didn't get to finish.

I ended up giving all of our J&J away (along with other various) to the shelter. We also got some Burts Bee's stuff - but I just don't use any of that on her (lotions, etc.) as I find it's not really necessary. We've been using Dr. Bronner's wash on her and I feel like that's all she needs.

  • Walmart takes everything back, their one nice quality. ?They even give cash sometimes, even with no?receipt. ?Odd.
