I am now in love with October :) BFP

I'm so excited about getting my first BFP test this morning! I am still in shock and trying to take it all in.

Testing: I tested Friday morning because I was going out with friends and got a BFN. Well AF was supposed to be here this morning and my temp was still up so I decided to take another Dollar General test. Once I got done POAS I left the room and watched the clock, I was so hopeful. When I went back to check the test I saw a faint second line. I could not stop shaking. I immediately opened another test and POAS again (same FMU) and got another faint second line. Symptoms: I feel like I had a ton of symptoms! I had cramping, lower backache and sore boobs early on. I became extremely tired started going to bed early every night for the last week. And man am I hungry all the time, don't know if that is in my head or what.

What we did differently: This was our 2nd cycle TTC. From lurking here a few months before TTC I learned alot so I put it all to use. I continued charting my temp and CP/CM. I drank Green Tea until O. We had sex O-4, O-3 and twice on O.

How I told DH: I had a great idea for our fur babies to help share the news. So in preparation on Wednesday I made our two dogs shirts that said "I'm gonna be a big sister". I had no idea I would get to use them so soon. After I tested and got the positive test I called the dogs into the bathroom so I could put their shirts on

We had to wait several minutes (seemed like forever) for DH to get out of the bathroom. When he came out I was waiting in the kitchen with the dogs and said look the dogs have a message for you (tears in my eyes). He hadn't put in his contacts yet, so couldn't totally see, but kind of knew. I held one dog up and he read the message and got a huge smile on his face. It was so exciting!I want to thank everyone on this board for such great advice, support, answering my silly questions and keeping me positive. I'm cautiously moving over to Oct 2012 and 1st Tri boards while still lurking here! I wish you all the best and hope you all get your BFPs soon.
