BF 2-4 week old: how many oz in bottle?

I'm introducing a bottle about once a day for the past few days. DS is only taking about 1.5 oz from a bottle. I remember DD eating more than that I think. How much/ how often is your LO eating from a bottle. Thanks!

I'm curious about this too. My LO is 3 weeks, and I have to go back to work part time tomorrow. I pumped and got 5 oz at feeding time, but she only ate about 2 from the bottle. She seemed full, but I feel like she would have eaten more had she been breastfeeding.

LO is 3 weeks and he usually has 3 oz if drinking from a bottle... last night he actually took 4 but seemed like a lot for him...he threw up a little more then usual.

My 10 week old only drinks 3-4oz at a time so I think a 2-3 week old will only take between 1.5oz-2oz at a time. I can't remember what my daughter was drinking then, but that sounds about right.

and he only takes a bottle once a day with DH or if I have a cocktail :P

My 2 week old drinks about 2 oz from a bottle at a time. Occasionally he'll drink a little more or little less.

They only need 1 oz per hour....so if you give a bottle every 2 hours, put 2 oz in it.

Mine took 1.5-2 oz at 2 weeks.

He only takes 3 oz now at 7 weeks.

Yeah, my little guy is only good for 3-4oz also. I bet 2 is fine for a 3 weeker!
