  Thanks everyone!  Sorry for the P&R last night, had to go pick my sister up from the airport.  I'm hopefully going to get an ultrasound in the next week or two to confirm.  By dates I'm due August 7, but it will probably be a bit later because my cycle was long.  Today I'm really excited because I get to tell my family on my dad's birthday!  It still doesn't feel real that we'll have a baby in ~28 weeks though!

  OH my gosh! I am so glad they didn't pressure you into a D&C, I mean they typically do an u/s first but wow! So glad you got wonderful news!

  no freaking way!!! What an amazing story---this baby was definitely meant to be.

  I would be so pissed at the assistant for mis-reading my numbers---I wonder if your OB is pretty ticked, since that is a pretty freaking big mistake she made.

  Regardless, congrats on this little trooper baby!! And yay for sailing through first tri without even knowing it.

  Wow. Just wow! I'm so glad you're still pregnant and got to miss all the first tri angst, but I would seriously be finding another doctor. Not only because they misread the numbers, but I can't believe they didn't follow up with you and have a 4th beta to confirm. I also can't believe she laughed when she looked at the numbers. If it was anything like my loss, there would have been quantities of wine consumed that are not safe for first tri!!

  Wow, that is a crazy story and I'm so glad you're back, although I hate that you and your husband had to experience grieving this LO. At least you were able to skip the 1st trimester PgAL paranoia.

  Congratulations and I hope the rest of your nine months is much easier and less eventful.
