Thumbsucking

I have a thumbsucker and am good with that. What I need help with is this; his thumb is cracked and I noticed it bled a little today. Does anyone have any ideas for healing this?

Not sure, to this day my sis's thumb is withered, cracked and different from the other. ?Good Luck! ?It can be an extremely hard habit to break.
