I posted on Tuesday that I was having scary cramps, turns out it was due to my digestive track getting backed up. But the dr wanted me to come in today for an internal and ultrasound to make sure the cramps weren't affecting the babies or my cervix.
Internal and cervix check both looked fine, no issues whatsoever. And the babies are doing awesome! Heart beats in the 140's, tons of wiggling. Baby A is measuring on time to the date (I think I'm 24,3 today, forgot to check my sig), is head down, and is estimated at 1lb, 10 oz. Baby B is also measuring to the day, is breech, and is 1bl, 8 oz. Baby A has his head squished up against my cervix, so as long as he stays put, a vag delivery should be in my future (fingers crossed).
It was just such a relief to see them both doing so wonderful after all the stress I had this week. In the mean time, I'm supposed to up the water, up the fiber, and keep taking it easy...
Thanks to everyone who told me to call, I feel so much better now!
Re: AW: awesome appt. today
I'm so sorry I didn't respond earlier, I couldn't get back on until just now.
No, there's no guarantee that he will keep his head down and engaged. It seems likely, because the head is the heaviest part so gravity should help us out, but apparently they still have plenty of time and room to move.
I've heard that they can still move pretty well up until about 34 weeks or so...
