uncooperative peanut on board...lol

so today was our a/s, all looked awesome for 21 weeks! baby is measuring right on track for everything, weighs almost 14oz!!

however, baby was way too cozy, laying face down the ENTIRE time!!! LOL

they got most of the organ pictures, and stayed away from "down there" so we wouldn't see anything, however they had a hard time getting a picture of the 4 chambers of the heart, and a profile shot, i could hardly see baby's face! i was so disappointed!

but it was really amazing to see the knees, feet, arms, hands, and legs, with the bones and everything, it was unbelievable!

so we go back on feb. 7th for another try, but i don't mind getting to see baby again! just hoping to get some face time with baby!!

it was just hysterical how they had me rolling around on the table, jumping, etc, trying to get baby to move!!! and baby would roll, but roll right back to the same spot LOL it was really funny, at one point, me, dh, and the tech cracked up because it looked like baby was giving us the finger!!! but, that's our kid alright! LOL

so hoping for better results next time!!

My LO was super-lazy for my a/s too --- luckily the tech had no appt after ours, so we were there for two full hours, rolling around on the bed, drinking juice and eating a candy bar, and walking around the parking lot trying to get her to roll over. It was ridiculous, but at the very last minute she finally rolled into the position to get the last two angles we needed.

I hope your LO is more cooperative next time. Maybe try a different time of day when s/he might be more active.

Ours was the same. She was face down for a large part of the scan. Towards the end, she flipped. I also have another ultrasound on the 7th. Looks like we're appointment buddies lately. Wink

I'm happy you had a good scan! Sorry to hear baby was not cooperating! My boy has always been a showboat and my girl hides like your LO does!! haha
