While nursing my DD I had very low milk supply. I really wish I would have known of this board during that time. She REFUSED all formula so I was unable to supplement. I know she was getting enough but, I was unable to pump any extra. I plan on nursing this baby but, don't want the stress of low supply and a baby who refuses formula. Any suggestions on boosting your supply. TIA

I never responded well to a pump, if your baby wet diapers and pooped regularly your body made enough, if you really want to build a stash it can help to have good pump that fits your breasts well and I ALWAYS had to (I used hand expression it worked better for me and I didn't have $$ for a nice double electric pump) 'pump' twice to get enough for one feed.
The biggest supply buster is not nursing on cue!
