*pssst* I'm going to go "kidnap" my son.....

It's beautiful outside (clear blue skies, 72 degrees) and I am not focusing on work anyways and in 1.5 weeks, I will be a momma of 2 and will not have time to devote to just my son for sometime.....so as soon as I get an email back from a client that I am waiting on....I'm springin' him out of preschool and we're going to the park!!!

 

Bonus: We'll walk to the park from our house, so I'll be helping to speed things along with the little miss' as well =)=)=)

    Great idea! I'm trying to get some quality time in with DD before baby arrives, as well. Though, she's only 18 months old, so she really has no idea what's going on. :)

    I'm going to do laps before I pick up my son.  He gets mad when I pick him up early because he has so much fun!

    How fun! We would so be going to the park if it wasnt so cold here! I did put off doing laundry this morning and cuddled with DS for over an hour, it was heaven because he doesnt sit still that long anymore. I've been soaking up every hug, kiss and cuddle I can get before baby gets here!

    We're about to do the same thing, though for me it's just a matter of delaying naptime and schoolwork (the big boys are homeschooled).  It's cool to be able to enjoy this beautiful January day.

    You must be down south like me.  It's been unseasonably warm in NC this winter and today the air conditioner in my office is broken so it might be 85 degrees in my office.  Getting ready to call it a day and head on out.  It can't be good for my swollen feet and ankles to be this dang warm!

    Good idea :)

    I work four days/week and today is my day off, so I've been really sentimental about this being our potential last day alone together, but she's not been very cooperative!  Maybe the sassiness is her way of acting out because she knows what's coming up...

    Enjoy!  I took my 3.5 year old daughter to a local high school's production of Beauty and the Beast last weekend. She wanted to sit on my lap to see better and while there's not much room there and I was pretty uncomfortable, it was so nice to savor the one on one time with her. It was may more fun to watch her watch the play than to watch the play!

    We have a really nice park we walk to a lot too, I wish it was warm!!!

    I am also getting very sentimental/clingy to my son for the past couple of weeks. He's just getting so big and I want to enjoy our last couple of weeks as a family of 3!
