Is there anything to this 4 month wakeful...

I just don't remember this with my two older girls, but Katelyn is sleeping craptastically for the last two weeks. Super late to sleep and wakes up 2 to 4 times a night and up early (for her). Also she is a nap boycotter. Ggggrrrrr Tell me it is shrt lived and she will be back to her good sleeping soon.

    i would love to hear responses to this too because i am tearing my hair out with how DS is NOT sleeping at night. he's been taking short naps at daycare like he usually does; it's just in the wee hours that he's being a booger.

    thankfully, work is being understanding, but i do feel bad that i'm not all mentally there. i know my performance is tanking, and that's just not like me to do subpar work.

    Yes.  It's real, and it sucks.  BUT!  It does get better.  For us, it was a 5 month wakeful, and it lasted until we sleep trained at 6 months.  :(

    For my DS it was from the age of 3 months 1 week til the DAY he turned 5 months (and that night slept for 13 hours). It really, really sucked, but once it got better, it got a lot better and he pretty much slept 12-13 hrs and just woke once between 4-5 to nurse and go back to sleep. That lasted til he started truly STTN at 8.5 months.

    Hang in there--she'll turn a corner soon! ALso good news--he didn't take a nap longer than 45 minutes until he started truly STTN, then naps got quite a big longer!
