dr call about yesterday's u/s - found bleeding under implant, pelvic rest ?s

Hi ladies, just got a call from the doctor reviewing my ultrasound from yesterday (7w). She started by saying it was viable, but that they found bleeding under where it implanted, and she put me on pelvic rest. Does anyone else know what this is? She said it's not uncommon, but she didn't give me a medical term so I don't know what to google to freak myself out more.

    It sounds like a subchorionic hemorrhage.

    It sounds like a subchorionic hemorrhage. 

    I had this with my daughter and it resolved. I had some minor bleeding around 6 or 7 weeks.

    Totally normal.  Good to know to prevent panic if you bleed.  I had spotting about 6-7 weeks and bright red bleeding around 10 weeks.  All due to SCH.  At an ultrasound around 12 weeks, the SCH was gone and I haven't had anymore bleeding. 
    1st BFP 1/1/2009 m/c 1/4/2009 chemical pregnancy or blighted ovum. Don't know for sure. 2nd BFP 2/14/2009 m/m/c 3/4/2009 d&c 3/5/2009. 3rd BFP 6/27/2009 DS born 3/6/2010. Love him! 4th BFP 3/7/2011 natural m/c 4/1/2011-Wish it was an April Fool's day joke. Dx with MTHFR 5/2011. 5th BFP 11/7/11 EDD 7/19/2012.     Thanks so much. I'm sitting here googling and my anxiety is going up, up, up. I definitely would freak seeing blood, now hopefully I'll only have a minor breakdown. I'll pray it's all gone by the 12w scan.

    Praying with you.  Now, back away from Dr. Google! 

    I thought my pregnancy was over when I was bleeding.  But little one is just fine.  God forbid you do bleed because of this, please try very hard not to panic. 

    Silver lining... I got two extra u/s :o)
