How do we feel about the name Piper for a girl?

My husband LOVES this name ... and I like it too, but had to nix it for our first daughter b/c while I thought it was cute for a little girl, I didn't know if it'd transition well to adulthood. Now, I'm thinking a little differently now ...

If we're lucky enough to have #2 and it is a girl, this name might be at the top of our list.

But wanted to see what other people thought about it too!! Please be honest!

I like it. You could also give her a more dignified/adult sounding middle name and then, if she wanted to, she could go by that as an adult.

Yeah. It's NMS, but I'm very picky about names.

I agree with PP. I like Piper, but pair it with something more mature like Elizabeth.

Well it's my nieces name and one of my girlfriends is naming her daughter Piper so I'm a big fan of it.

DH and I have a dog named Piper and we joke that her middle name is Elizabeth. It flows well when you're yelling the full name because she just chewed the remote control.

In all seriousness though, we talked about Piper for a little girl's name before we even got married but then we got a dog and couldn't agree on a name. I think it's cute!
