Preschool Valentines

General ignorance here - but do pre-schoolers bring in Valentines for their class?  I've noticed some cute ones on Pinterest but I didn't want to be the only one bringing them in.

    We are doing them, but I'm not doing anything fancy that's on pinterest. I'm getting the pre-made ones from Target and putting one in each kid's cubby.

    It hadn't even occured to me to do them.  I think I will ask DD's teacher if its done.  Thanks for the head up.

    Not sure if I'll do it but I know a lot of other Moms (parents) of DD's classmates will; they did last year (when she was in the 24-30mo room).

    DD did them for her class (three-year olds) but it was part of a small Valentine's celebration organized by the teachers.  I'd say to err on the side of doing it (if you have the time and energy) because inevitably other parents will, too.  There are always kids bringing in treats (not necessarily edible ones) and goodie bags for their classmates around Halloween, Christmas, etc. and then I feel like a lame mom for the thought never even crossing my mind.

    we do them

    depending on how much time i have, we may make them or buy pre-designed cards.

    We haven't done cards unless there was some sort of special school "party," but some parents/children in my DD's classes do. I'd say ~1/3, maybe? They are usually of the Target color-and-fold variety, nothing fancy.

    We got the monthly newsletter today and they are having a party and are to bring in homemade Valentines for each kid.  I'll have to check out Pinterest for some ideas.

    wow, that's quite the request! I would be the bad Mom and not do it b/c honestly, home-made Valentines are not my thing and I don't have the time! PIP what you make :)

    DD is doing them for her class.  I cut out hearts at school and we're gluing them to a doilie.  I will write Happy Valentine's Day on them and DD is going to sign each one.  We'll do a few a day because I know DD won't want to write that many a day.  She loves to glue things so she'll like doing that.
