Yesterday there was a clicky poll about how often you bathe LO. Since you've had your baby, how often do you bathe yourself?

Re: How often do you shower? Clicky Poll
I was just thinking this morning when I was in the shower, "you know your a new mom when you get a shower and feel like you acomplished something grand!"
I'm lucky to get one every other day. LO is very colicky so to get enough time to shower during the day can be tough!

Am I the only one still sweating at night? I'm gross if I don't shower, that plus I have to after I work out so sometimes it's twice a day. Sure some days I don't get in there until noonish but that's fine.
With DD1 I would just bring the bouncer into the bathroom with me and shower whenever now I wait until DD1 goes for a nap then bring DD2 into the bathroom with me.
Lately I've been thinking of just bringing DD1 into the shower with me but I'm not sure how she would react.
For me taking those few minutes just for me makes me a much better mother. With 2 under 2 I find myself choosing one child's needs over the other, if that means one cries for a moment so be it - I think it's important to remember your needs as well.

I shower every day, but only wash my hair every other day or every third day. I have long hair and that helps it stay less dry. Not washing my hair every day also helps preserve the expensive color jobs.
I find showering and getting out of the jams every day helps me when I feel down. Staying home with the baby has been rewarding, but hard. So far I've always found the time while Margo is sleeping to take 30 minutes to shower and dress. However, if that changes, I will let her fuss if need be. I need that time.

My daily shower keeps me sane. I have major boob leakage (we are talking multiple spraying streams that soak 4 lansinoh pads a day). I smell like sour milk by morning. It is nasty. I shower while LO is sleeping.
I was reading my care instructions from the hospital. I won the vagina lottery and had 3 third-degree tears. It says to take baths "several times a day." I literally laughed out loud when I read that.

I cannot function without my shower.
