  • is your LO on Alimentum or Nutramigen? I know these formulas cause the poop to be mucusy.

  • If you haven't changed your diet/lo's diet and havent seen it before it probably means a little cold or virus.

  • Hum?! I'm EBF and can he be showing signs of allergy this late?

  • My lo had this late and it turned green, I went dairy free for 3 weeks then had pasta with just pasta sauce one night and it was worse so I am thinking it was tomatos the whole time. I have been 1 1/2 weeks with out tomato and it seems better. I have introduced small amounts of dairy now and seeing how it goes just in case its both.. Cut one thing out of your diet for a few weeks and if it doesnt get better try something else.

  • My LO has had mucus in her poop for weeks (EBF) and I have been dairy free for 12 days now, so as of this morning I've also elimintated nuts from my diet to see if that helps.  The pedi said it was probably a minor food sensitivity and didn't seem to concerned that dairy doesn't seem to be the problem.

I agree with PP above...try an eliminiation diet to see if that helps.  I'd start with dairy since that is usually the problem (although it doens't seem to be in my case).
