7 days since water broke!!!

at 230 am it will have been 7 days since my water broke. that means i am 1 week closer to keeping him in for another 6 weeks. his heart is still going strong and my vitals are still really good : ) its so crazy to think that he was suposed to be born 4-12-12 and now he will be here sometime before march 1st.... he is going to be so little and i am very worried that i will somehow manage to hurt him : ( thanks for all of your thoughts prayers and well wishes, its all very much apprecitated and its working girls!!!!

my coworker's water broke on 12/17 at 29w and she ended up keeping him in there a full 4 weeks and delivered on 1/17 (was due at the end of feb)

Keep him in there! he's growing everyday!

WOW! So is he replenishing his own amniotic fluid with his urine (thats what babies do from what my dr's have told me)? I assume there is some fluid in there...can a baby survive with no fluid at all??? Praying for you to keep him in as long as possible

I missed this because I haven't been on the board much but you are in my thoughts and prayers!! My sister was born at 28 weeks on the dot, 22 years ago, she is perfectly healthy...

Also, I am due 4/4 but doctor is almost 100% sure we will not go past 35 weeks (Feb 29th), because of issues with my health and my babies are SGA (small for GA). You are definitely not the only mom in this boat hun!! Every day, week that your LO is inside and doing well is positive for them!!

Yay for making it another week! I was in the hospital at 24 weeks for PTL and all of the doctors kept reminding me that at this point each day is huge. GL to you. T&P that your LO stays put for a while.

Hang in there Mama! Not sure if you have checked out the preemie board, but they have a lot of great information. I think they even have a blog. You and your LO are in my thoughts and prayers.
