Already Wearing a Bella Band & Loving It

Yep, I am only 8 weeks and wearing the Bella Band.  I'm not messing around with comfort. Between the bloat and the nausea, wearing a tight waistband just hasn't cut it.  I inevitably end-up unbuttoning my pants and sometimes the zipper goes with it.  Yesterday, I bought the Bella Band and am wearing it today.  So far so good.  It's pretty comfortable.

  • This is the target brand one?  Do you have to wear pretty long shirts to disguise it?

    How much was it?

The Target one is called BeBand.  It's $16.99 here in Ohio.  From what I've been told, you don't have to wear a long shirt over it because it looks like a cami beneath your shirt hem so you can get away with it showing.  I just got one in black. :)

  • I picked up the Be Band from Target ($16.99 at my store) and have worn it a few times with certain pants.  It is so comfy!

I think the Target one is the same concept and is called the B Band or something like that.  I got this one from a baby botique that's close to my office.

It's black and you wear it as low as you'd like.  So, if you're going to unbutton your pants and the zipper goes down, you'd want the band to cover the zipper.  My shirt isn't particularly long but it is black.  So, you can see the Bella band but it sorta blends with my shirt.  My goal when wearing it is to either have a long shirt or make it look like it's part of a long cami that I'm wearing underneath my top, as layers.

There is a little label on the side of it that says Bella Band.  I might try to cut that off or see if I can wear this upside down to hide the label.

    Ha, love it!

I skipped the Bella band, grabbed stretchy panel mat pants. Regular pants are too tight on the bloat!

Hey, Anita!  Honestly, shouldn't pants just be that comfortable, maternity or not!  I think you'll make it a trend before people figure out you're pregnant. :)

  • Yeah! All the replies yesterday motivated me to go get one. I did, I'm loving it, but I'm self conscious of if anyone can see through it! Confession...I'm actually wearing pants today that have been too tight for months, but I love them and am so excited I'm actually pg and can wear them with the band!

  • I think I might be pulling mine out of the drawer - with my bloating some of my jeans are not buttoning and I'm running low on outfit options, lol
