So puffy!

Anyone else?  Misery loves company

My fingers swelled up so I had to take off my wedding bands and my feet are swollen and even my face looks puffy.  My girlfriend said it looked like I got my wisdom teeth out.  No problems according to the midwives, I'm just retaining water and looking like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man

Re: So puffy!

  • Yep, both pregnancies I have puffed up in the final weeks.  It is so uncomfortable!  The good news is that after DD I totally deflated in the first week or two and lost a ton of weight right off the bat.  Looking forward to that again.

  • Same here! I am almost 35 weeks and I have slowly been getting puffier and puffier. I had toxemia with my first pregnancy so I'm really hoping that I don't head in that direction again. I cannot wait to "deflate"! :)

  • yep yep, only I haven't been able to wear rings in months
  • My legs, ankles and feet were swelling by 30 weeks, so I had to buy compression stockings that come all the way up to my boobs.  Totally comfy (note: sarcasm).  Just recently, 33 weeks, I noticed a little swelling in my hands and face.  I know what you mean about feeling puffy!  I keep joking I'm getting burly! lol

  • I have the cankles from HELL. Crying Then just this week, my hands started swelling.  I have gained so much in water weight it is not even funny.  I can't wait to see how much I lose after I have him, I feel like a camel.  BP perfect, no signs of pre-eclampsia, I am just one of those lucky people who swells up like a balloon, yay.
