Anyone who thinks pregnancy cravings aren't real..............is insane.
This morning at 10 am all I wanted to eat was pork fried rice. Yes. At 10 am. And, FWIW, it's not what I would order if we get Chinese. I couldn't get it out of my head all.day.long, so DH picked up Chinese for dinner.
I am sitting here eating it. I swear, I could be sitting in a jail cell eating this right now and I would be perfectly happy.
Here comes Baby #3!

Mint Chocolate Chip Ice cream, the green stuff not the white crap. yes my cravings are that specific.
On friday my specific craving was "I want French fries, but not like McDonald's fries. The fries you get at the pizza place and they're so hot in their styrofoam contain that by the time you get home they're kind of soggy....
Yeah those fries"

Pork fried rice is now in my future for tomorrow.
Yep, totally real. Despite the day-long nausea, in the rare/fleeting moments that I'm hungry, I'm all about a Big Mac with bacon and tomato added and fries, with 2 ranch cups, that way, I can dip the Big Mac in one, and the fries in the other. A couple of times, it's been Taco Mayo bean burritos with sour cream, guacamole, and Pico de Mayo.
I've had no real cravings yet. I'm waiting!
My last pg all I wanted was chicken and spinach or Strawberry milkshakes from this upscale diner.
And I love eggs but they made me barf every time I ate them for the first 6 months or so of my pg.
This time, so far, nothing exciting - no cravings and no aversions YET!
This morning after I dropped DD off at preschool, I went to the Dunkin Donuts drive-thru to get a cheddar cheese bagel twist.
While waiting in line at DD, I had a craving for a McDonald's sausage biscuit (which I don't think I've eaten since I was pregnant with DD). So I bought my bagel twist then drove down the road to the McDonald's drive-thru and ate the biscuit in the parking lot.
You just reminded me - I ate hotcakes and sausage like it was my job with sweet tea from Micky D's last time too!

The first time I got pregnant, I craved the yum yum sauce from our favorite local Japanese hibachi restaurant. I had a vivid dream one night that I was frosting a cake but I was frosting it with yum yum sauce.
This time around, I'm not sure yet.
