NICU babies

I will say that I just had the hardest 2 weeks of my life.  Nothing has ever hurt so bad as to looking at my little man and seeing him with all these cords and hoses on him.  My heart goes out to all of you that have or had a NICU baby.  It is tough, but it will only make us that much stronger.  Keep your chin up mommy that baby loves you and needs you!!!

    Amen. Having my girls in the NICU is the hardest thing ever. It sucks seeing them like that and they look so helpless.

    You are so right.  Our DD had an IV in her hands and head.  At this point she only has the one in her head.  It is the worst feeling having to leave her after visits!!  Luckily the staff is amazing and she is in great care.

    I hear you.  I cried the entire way home from the hospital when I was released and he had to stay in there.  Hang in there.  Being in the NICU is the best thing for him right now.  Also, if you can get any skin-to-skin time, do it!  Doing that seriously made me feel like I was contributing to his health improving.
