  I also have a recommendation.  We loved our session with Heather Baczewski and got the most amazing shots.  She specializes in newborn photos and was so patient in waiting for the little guy to doze off and get more pliable.    You pay a fee for the session itself and then you choose images a la carte or you can buy the copyrights to the whole cd.  that was a little pricey but we couldn't help ourselves.

  we've used my friend Tracy a few times. obviously i'm biased b/c we're buddies but she does amazing work.  she charges a $200 flat rate and that is for at least an hour of shooting and then all the pics on a CD.

  Yes, JLS Photography, located in Central MA  www.facebook.com/jlsphotos  She currently charges $150 for newborn sessions and gives you the edited images on CD for that price.  TONS of props and backdrops to choose from.
