With DD we loved pampers swaddlers but with DS they seem to always leak. I don't know if they have changed them or it's because we have a boy now? Anyone else having this problem?

We just heard that Pampers are the best but I am not completely impressed with them... Worried to swich to Huggies because I heard they really don't cover up the smell??
Pampers Swaddlers work great for us. Maybe try the next size up? We were using newborn and they started to leak, moved up to size 1 and problem solved.

I'm having a horrible time with diapers. DS has poop blowouts with Huggies and Pampers (leg bands with Huggies, up the back with Pampers) and he's leaked pee out of both. I bought a pack of Luvs but he blew out up the back of the first one I put on him, and I haven't tried a second one. So far I've had the best luck with Target's Up & Up brand. They hold so much pee it's unreal, and though he has had a couple of poop blowouts in them, they haven't been quite as messy as with other brands.

We use pampers swaddlers for DS and haven't had any issues. We did have to move up to size 1's earlier then I thought (just under two weeks old) due to leaks but have had no issues since. We've also used the pampers baby dry, and my only complaint with those is that they seem to swell up pretty big when he pees. Currently we're half way through a pack of luvs from the baby shower and have had no issues with them. Maybe you could give luvs a try to see if they work better for you?
It probably has to do with the shape of your baby. My guy is long and lean. The pampers swaddlers fit great on him in the nb size - the huggies were too big and baggy. Now that he's in size 1, both fit fine, but the huggies fit a little smaller so we used those first before moving into the pampers.
I use Pampers Swaddlers...haven't tried any other brands yet because I've been happy with the pampers. She has had a few blowouts lately, but it could be that its time to go up a size.
We used pampers swaddlers at first, but now that he's in size 2, they are too big, but1s are way to small. We are using huggies size 2 now and I think I like them better. I m going to try target brand when I run out of all the diapers I was gifted.
I prefer the Target Up and Up. With DD #1, we tried Luvs, Huggies, Pampers and Up and Up. We had the least amount of leaks with the Up and Up and they were the most reasonably priced. Also, Target tracks your purchases with credit/debit cards because once I started buying them, I would always get coupons for the next purchase at the checkstand. If I were to rank diapers in order of best to worst it would be:
My brother told me his 4 boys were all different. I've heard Huggies for common leakers, we use swaddlers despite trying to use g-diapers...LO HATED them and would not stop screaming from the minute we put them on him. Apparently he wants to leave his own permanant mark on the world.
A friend told me the Walgreens ones worked great for her.

Re: Which diapers do you prefer?
For my DS we use Huggies and love them.
Sorry for lurking...not quite on 0-3 yet!
We were also using Pamper Swaddlers and DS was continually leaking. We switched to Huggies newborns and they are working great.
HTH!
