yeah, my DS turns 2 next month and I still haven't shed a lot of the weight I gained when I was pregnant. I have a gym membership that I try to use 4 or 5 times a week, about an hour when I go, 30 mins cardio (treadmill) and weight machines the rest. Since the new year I've quit drinking all sodas and upped my water intake. I know my worst habit is late snacking but I've been doing much better. What has worked for you, what do you tell yourself to keep yourself motivated, success stories, any particular workout routine you used. I'll be happy to read them all.
TIA ladies.
Re: still trying to lose that baby weight.
After DS1 was born I started Couch to 5K. I should say I HATED running before this. I could barely go two minutes at 4.7 mph I'm now training for my first half marathon.
On days I can't make it to the gym, I like to do Jillian Michaels Shred or this fitness routine I found on pinterest.

DH has just started training to run long distances with run/ walk intervals. I've considered getting out there and doing it with him but I can only go with when we have a babysitter, which is usually just on the weekends when his grandparents don't work. Maybe I should just start going on my own.
My problem is late snacking too. I also eat when stressed. For me it's all about quantity...I'm pretty happy as long as I'm eating something. I also found that I was unintentionally not filling up at dinner so that I'd have room for snacks later.
So what's worked for me is to fill the house with lots of snack type foods that are somewhat healthy. For a "junk" fix, I keep raisinettes around bc at least they are sorta chocolate. Other snacks include carrots and hummus, grapes, pirates booty, etc. So far, so good.

I finally just got to my pre-pregnancy weight, but I am trying to lose another 20 lbs to get to my pre-marriage weight.
I lost the weight so far by counting calories and trying not to eat after 7pm. I started with Jillian Michaels 30-day shred and now I have a goal of running 50 miles/month.
Good luck!
I've made it halfway through Couch to 5K a few times. I still hate running. Hate it. I keep restarting the program and upping my "running" speed because I can tolerate running for about 2 minutes max. (I'm up to 5.2-5.3 mph.)
I still have 20-25 lbs of baby weight to lose, which isn't horrible considering I gained 60 lbs, right?
I need to start weight lifting again. That's the only part of working out that I've ever enjoyed. Before I got married, I got into really great shape doing a 4 day split weight lifting program. The key to getting results is to really push yourself and lift heavy weights. Adding muscle increases metabolism which burns more calories. I *think* I'm going to do a 3 day split this time, but I need to do some research and figure out how I should do that.
A trick I've learned to curb late night eating is to brush your teeth right after dinner. You're less likely to want to snack with that minty fresh taste in your mouth.

In November I found an all natural supplement that I take 2 times a day. It's called ACE (appetite control and energy). It works SO GOOD!! I have lost 37 pounds since mid November! It is a great product for appetite control! I was a huge late night snacker and this has really helped curb that for me! If I want to snack, I don't crave the sweets, I go for a yogurt, banana, apple.....something healthy. It doesn't take much to make me full now. As far as energy, it's a clean non-jittery energy. It's the kind of energy where you feel like you got an amazing night of sleep! I have never been one to take a pill to help me until I did my research on this product. Here is a link if you want to check it out. They have a 30 day money back guarantee if you don't like it! If you add an exercise routine to it, it will be even more effective!
