OMG! Your old OB was such an a-hole! I'm so glad you didn't just sit back and take her abuse and got yourself a new doctor. That woman put yours and your baby's life at risk just by being a b!tch. Unbelievable.
That being said, I'm SO sorry you're going through this and I can't imagine how angry and scared you must be. T&P's to your family that everything turns out okay. Stay sticky, little man!
I am so sorry you are going through this! And extra sorry about your previous OB. Sounds like you are in good hands now. I will sooo be praying for your little guy, that he continues to remain healthy (you too).
Lots of T&P's!

I posted basically the same thing on your 2nd Tri post but I just really wanted you to read this!
I heard a story of another lady in your situation who was around 20 weeks and her water broke and the doctor told her 'basically there's nothing we can do, you're going to lose him', and she said she just went to the hospital and checked herself in and put herself on hospital bedrest with IV fluids, antibiotics, and I'm guessing steroids. She carried her little guy long enough for him to be born and turn out perfectly fine!!
If its an option at all, I would consider trying to get checked in now, to give your little dear his best shot!
I'll be keeping you and your sweet baby in my prayers. Hopefully he's able to keep cooking in there for a lot longer!

Wow what a quack doctor you saw! Im so happy you finally got the correct diagnosis and are able to continue your pregnancy. I wish you the best of luck and look forward to updates!
What a devastating experience. You and your family are in my prayers. It sounds like you and your DH made the best decision to get the H out of dodge. The other doctors sound like complete a-holes. Keep your spirits up and bring lots of books to read to the hospital.

OMG! So sorry to hear you are going through all of this! Thoughts and prayers for you and your LO!
And when you feel up to it, I would definitely be notifying that doctor of their mistake--and maybe notifying the medical board and a medical malpractice lawyer....not sure if they can do anything, but it's worth a shot given what you are going through!
I had a friend who's water broke at 18 weeks. She delivered her LO at 30 weeks after being on bed rest at home and has a very healthy four year old. So there is hope. Im so glad you went to another dr and they are taking care of you.
Thank goodness you switched doctors. I will be sending you lots of prayers, and I hope your little man is ok. I can't believe how bad the other OB dropped the ball. I am so sorry you guys have to deal witth this.
I am so sorry! What a horrible doctor. I am so glad they seem to have a good plan for you and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep us updated!

I posted on your 2nd Tri post, but I will say it again. If you have any questions or just need someone to talk to, please page me if you PM me. It is good that you've not already delivered yet or gotten an infection in about 2 weeks. I hope that everything works out for you, and if you can, I would definitely be hospitalized at 23 weeks or as soon as your OB says you can. I got my 2-shot steroid series this past Monday and Tuesday, at 23w4d and 23w5d.
Getting an infection may not just result in a hysterectomy, it could also take your life. So, please be conscious of any temperature you spike, etc. Is your OB having you check your temperature often at home?
Good luck, and I'm sending lots of positive vibes, energy, and T&P your way.

Sounds like a blessing that you went to the second OB... scary how awfully the first one treated you. Lots of t&p coming your way as you make it through the next months.
How scary-- I hope you're feeling all right. If it makes you feel any better, one of my friends also had her water break early and was confined to bedrest for a couple of months-- she delivered a perfectly healthy boy, and they're all fine and healthy now.
I'm sorry you had to deal with this, and I hope things turn out for the best!
