Can you use Angelcare monitor in pack n play?

Does anyone use their Angelcare Movement Sensor Monitor in a pack n play? I looked in the book and don't see anything other than it needs a firm surface. I also just googled and I found 1 person who said they were able to use it under the mattress. I'd like to keep DS in the pack n play in our room for awhile longer since he's still waking to eat frequently. He's a tummy sleeper and I really want this monitor. Just wondering if it's worth it to buy right now? Or wait until he moves into his crib?

We used it in the co-sleeper which is very similar to the PNP. My father cut a thin board for us to place the sensor pad on and it worked without an issue.
