Baby won't let me put him down

Hi ladies,

I have a question. My baby (1 month, 1 day) screams if we put him down anytime during the night or day. Do you have any suggestions? I am fine with during the day but it makes nights very hard, luckily my husband has been off so we trade off and on holding him so the other can sleep but literally I think it has been two weeks of this and we are exhausted.

Do you have the Rock N Play? I know for us this has been a lifesaver. We just got it last week, but before we got it, DS would go to sleep but then wake up in the middle of the night to nurse and then wouldn't go back down in his bassinet. I would have to put him in bed with us for him to fall back asleep. Now that we have it, I nurse and put him in the RnP and he's out. Last week it was $39 on Walmarts website.

During the day - do you have any type of carrier you can wear him in so you can get stuff around the house done?

Sorry - not a lot of help but hoping that things get better for you!!!

Thanks! We have the RNP but it doesn't seem to do the trick. I also have a swing, a bouncer, a mapper in our bassinet, and nothing seems to do the trick. We do have a carrier which he likes it he is tired, if over tired then we have a few hours of screaming no matter what ahead of us. Thanks for your suggestion

Have you tried lying down next to him? DS usually calms down when I put my face right in front of him and talk to him on his activity mat. I think him knowing I am there calms him a little.
