Recycling day- random vent

So our recycling pick up day is Monday and when a holiday is on Monday we dont have a pick up that week.  So basically no pick up xmas week or this week because  the holidays were observed on Monday.  So thats two weeks of recycling, which normally would be too bad because normally I fill the big blue recycling can in about 11-12 days and have a smaller yellow bin for overflow.  But I totally didnt even think about no recycling pick up for two weeks and the recycling didnt go out the week before xmas.  So no I have four weeks of recycling and all the stuff from xmas gifts etc.  So basically I have 3 big boxes, the big bin and yellow bin bursting at the seams and still 4 more days til pick up. Urghhhh.

    LOL! I hate it when that happens! They changed our curbside pickup recently, and when they did we got bigger bins (but only every other week pickup). I was so  thankful for the larger bin w/ a lid b/c I forgot to set it out often and it filled up fast!!

    Our city has curbside, but doesn't take half of the regular stuff. However, it doesn't reach our area, so it's always up to me to hit the recycling center. I would take some of the extra stuff to our local center for this time so it's not sitting around. I can really build a mountain in my kitchen in no time. :)
