? for those who got there period while breastfeeding

How old was LO when you got your first period after birth, and did it do anything to your supply?  I have read up on what could happen, just curious what others experienced.  I just started my first ater birth period this morning and LO is almost 10 months.

BFP #1 2/10/10: No HB on 4/29/10 at 15 wk, D&C 4/30/10, Baby measured 11-12 wks. First Pregnancy and first loss. BFP #2 7/25/10: Blake Daniel arrived 3/25/11 BFP #3 3/9/12: Our Turkey Baby! Due Date: 11/19/12 Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker BabyFruit Ticker Image and video hosting by TinyPic image

    Lucky me, I got it exactly 28 days PP and it was like clockwork ever since. We conceived #2 while still BFing 2-3x/day. I had oversupply the entire time and even donated.

    Lucky me, I got it exactly 28 days PP and it was like clockwork ever since. We conceived #2 while still BFing 2-3x/day. I had oversupply the entire time and even donated.

    #1) Thanks for the reply!  Congrats on being able to keep up!  I feel like I have always just been producing what LO needs, maybe some extra in the very beginning when I was able to get a modest freezer stash for emergencies and back-up.  But it has been a long time since I have been able to add to it.

    #2) I love your siggy picture about Ego.  It is SO true!

    I got mine at 4 months PP. It has been regular ever since. I have had no supply issues.

    I got mine at 4 months PP and didn't notice a dip in supply.

    I got mine at 6 months PP, and I do have a supply dip every month.  I was like you in that I always produced with seemed like *just enough* and I've had some times when he wasn't very happy with me in the days before my period.

    I got mine at 11 months PP and I noticed a dip while I had it but it's gone back up now.
