Prayers Please

Our 20 month old ds was admitted to Children's today for RSV. It has been the worst I've ever seen to see him struggle to breathe and hooked up to all the machines. He seems to be doing much better now and is sleeping soundly. We're hoping we can go home tomorrow but that may be optimistic.

I'm sorry. I know it's scary to see them that way. RSV is pretty common, and I'm sure he's in good hands. (hugs)

My youngest was in the hospital with RSV when she was 4 weeks old. It was so scary. They used the deep suction in her nose and throat and that was the only time that she would get any sound sleep. Thinking of you!

My God-daughter contracted RSV at about 2 months....she had to do breathing treatments for nearly 4 months, but she recovered pretty easily and is all better now. The "good" news is that the older they are, the less chance for complications. T & P's you guys will get to be back at home recovering soon! Keep us posted!
