Jack managed to catch Becky's flu bug, but he didn't quite have as good an aim. Barf in the car, on the bed, in the chair, on the floor...ugh. Being a parent is fun. Being a parent is cool.
This also from someone who decided to bring Becky to starbucks for coffee when she kept her home sick from school with the flu. She also told a mutual friend of ours who just went through a loss that it was "god's plan" and said she had 3 before she had her kids.

"Funerals are the best time and place to insist on running amuck and playing peek-a-boo. Don't believe me? Just ask my daughter!"
And then someone responded:
"That is actually the best place! Sends a message straight from Jesus that life is still awesome and to keep going."
Ugh. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people don't control their kids in public and think everything they do is cute. I'm not sure what her relationship is to the deceased but how about having a little respect for others around you who are grieving and may not think your screaming snot nosed kid is so cute right now.
What's the irony when you are eating dinner with a Catholic priest & LIKE A VIRGIN IS PLAYING ON THE RADIO!!!!!!!! Not making thus up people!! Talk about awkward silence!! LMAO!!!!!
This is from a super funny animated friend of mine who always brings the humor to everything. I love her tons. And it was the first post I saw!

**Miss you baby***
PGAL/PAL Very Welcome
For I know the plans I have for you,
"I'm among the living, I guess. So concerned about the nerve damage my right hand has suffered during surgery. When they strapped me on the table they cut off my circulation for 6 hours. Fingers are numb and not showing any sign of improvement. God saved my life because the infection was ready to attack my exposed brain. Now to get the other one done before it happens. Please keep me in your prayers. Doctor said it was the worst he'd ever seen."
I'm sorry- but if MRSA was near my brain and the doc cleared it, I don't think I would complain about my hand. Just saying. Also, can it be that bad (her hand) if she can update FB a couple of hours post-op?

My DS did this during my granny's funeral except minus the peek-a-boo and a lot more screaming. The priest actually stopped the sermon and said to let my DS run around. I took him outside but all of my granny's sisters and her son (the only relatives of my grandmother besides myself and my sister who were able to make it) said that my granny would have loved to have had my DS running around inside since she loves kids and would have loved to have met her first grandchild.

Twins lost to due to partial molar pregnancy: September 2011
The accompanying text was just, "I named her!" but it was a photo of a cousin's bong. I will spare you guys and not re-post the photo here. She's very proud of the bong. She staged the photo all pretty and everything. Funny thing is she claims she's having trouble finding a job. Her Facebook is public. You do the math.
Yes, she has two very young kids, and rumor has it she's pregnant again. Of course.
still can't believe someone had the nerve to send my son "used" clothes as a birthday gift...I'm not ungrateful either...but come on seriously some thrift store jeans and boots as a birthday gift...a birthday gift. I'm going to goodwill for something for their kid for his b-day...smh...used clothes...i cant get over this...as a birthday gift...what is wrong with people these days..*u don't send someone used clothes as a gift...that's not a gift.
I saw this yesterday from a childhood friend and I just thought really? I hope the person you're talking about doesn't have facebook... jeeze no need to make this your STATUS...

That's terrible! Did she ever think that maybe even that gift was a monetary stretch for the giver?

Maybe she already knows they're situation. My MIL always buys DS cheap clothes and trinkets from dollar stores and is then surprised that they break/rip when she presents them to us. FWIW, MIL and FIL are pretty loaded (i.e., she can spot $6k to a family member in need with no problem) and yet she still shops at the dollar stores. I can understand shopping thriftily, I am a fan of Goodwill and resale shops but at least I look for quality. That being said I still think it's tacky to state it on FB.
I am also curious, though, as to how the person knew that the items were used.

These are all from the same person: "Has anyone gone through a phase where they didn't want to wear underwear?" - "I'm looking for a personal assistant $15 a day teenagers welcome." - "Everyone should be thankful that I dont have a MFing gun and I have poor vision"
Well I past a stone last night filling a lot better now I am being released. And will see doctors next week
This is a friend of DH's that friend requested me. He is always talking about some personal ailment, and his grammar and spelling are typically atrocious.

She actuallly lives in the ghetto in NY where I'm from (not the ghetto, just NY, although my neighborhood wasn't fantastic) so, to me, I would think that if one of her friends from that neighborhood got that for her son it was probably what she could afford and it might have been a stretch for them so I was a little horrified. I don't know how she knew they were used? Maybe she gave her a receipt in case she wanted to return them?

Backstory- apparently she had MRSA.
