So, how's it going for those who are also taking advantage of the 3 day weekend to enter the adventure of PT?
We've had mixed results--DD#2 is very excited about her "big girl underpants" we bought at target last night and we started off the day with 3 successful trips to the potty...followed by a poop and pee incident that was not so fantastic, another trip to the potty and another load of poop in the pants. So, pretty typical...
But exhausting, especially since I am on my own today (DH has a work conference in Bmore) and since she decided to fight going down for a nap (30 min of screaming, following by 30 min of napping and then she was back to crying...oh well, at least we tried) I'm sure the cold she has isn't helping, though on the bright side it seems that she has FINALLY learned how to blow her nose...
So a mixed bag today;) How about the rest of you?!?

It's going okay, I guess. We've been talking up undies for awhile now, so he was really in to that. It's been almost a year since DCP introduced the potty concept, so he totally understands what to do when he gets there, but he doesn't want to tell us when he has to go and sometimes throws a fit when we suggest it. We've resulted to bribery. He gets one "potty cookie" (tiny little goldfish-type snack) for pee and two for poop and then I offered him a piece of chocolate if he could keep his undies clean all day.
Well, no chocolate today. He's peed through once (kind of hysterical, actually. He was sitting in a little wooden chair, sans pants, and all of a sound there was a big splash on the floor beneath him.) and pooped once. Lots of successful trips to the potty in between, so that's still encouraging though.
We're staying home all day today but a big test will be tomorrow when we have to go to a family party. We'll do pull ups but I'm sure tearing him away from the action to use the potty will be a trial.
