I'm right behind you. I'm turning 34, and on my first kid. I waited 8 years for my DH to propose (he was worth the wait). It's hilarious, now he wants another ASAP because he regrets waiting so long (he's 42). However, I don't regret waiting. We have traveled so many places and have had such a wonderful 11 years together. We totally have a rock solid base that nothing can shake.

If you are an old lady, you are one HOT Cougar! :-)

You're much more mature than I was at 21! There's no way I would have been responsible enough to be a mother.

I grew up really fast. I helped raise 4 siblings. And I most definitely did not think I would want to have a baby at 21. Guess things change. Lol.

I never would have guessed you were 21! The only 21 yo mom I know in person is far behind you in maturity (and well, everything). I don't think I would have been able to deal with your DS's issues as well as you did at 21. I was 29 during my pregnancy and had a hard time with my DS's dx.

Hah, I've always been told I'm mature for my age. Yeah, Samuel's dx was the hardest thing I've ever gone through. And I've been through some emotionally trying events =/

THIS I started my paranoid anti-aging skin routine when I was like 22. DH thinks I'm batshit crazy, but when he looks 50 and I look 30 and we're 40 we'll see who the crazy one is...

Seriously? Move to Spain and you will all be considered the perfect age (a little on the young side if you are under 35) to be a FTM. My H is 28 and people make comments about him being so young to have a kid already. They must think I am really nuts being only 22! I find the bump pretty funny in that respect. Many FTMs on here are in their late 20s and refer to it as old, but where I live I am surrounded by people who think having a child before 35 is shocking! It's just fun to see the cultural differences concerning motherhood and age.

I was a young mama too! Check my siggy my oldest is 11. I was 19 when I got KU. That is probably why all my friends IRL are older than me. I love that I'm one of the youngest Mom's to have a 5th grader. At school when I bring Violet in the other moms coo over her saying it has been so long since their kids were babies.
