forgot how to or wont latch?

3 weeks no problem my kid would get right on i would feel her. would stop to burp her change diaper & switch sides.

for the last 3 days she either plays around sucking it in & out of her mouth but not actually getting milk (causing me to be engorged again) or refuses to latch on the side she needs to & will take the less full breast.

what the hell is going on? i really dont want to have to start pumping now

    They will often choose a breast to be their favorite.  She may have done so, and you may need to pump to get relief.  Try to offer the less dominant breast first.
