Anyone have a Kitchenaid stand mixer?

So I'd like the stand mixer to match our stainless steel appliances...I just didn't realize there were more than a dozen colors. Which would match stainless steel - imperial gray or silver metallic?

I've googled and looked through reviews and can't find anything.

I have the artisan in metallic chrome, and I'd say it is a pretty good match for stainless. It looks to be a little lighter than the silver metallic. Imperial gray is really dark, like almost black.

I have the imperial gray one and just so you know it's not smooth like the other ones. I also have stainless steel appliances and I think it looks fine with them.

If I had to buy a new one I would probably go with something fun like the ice blue or apple green.

You could always get whatever color you want and then get a cover for it that matches your kitchen decor. I have the green apple mixer (which makes me happy) and then a black and white cover I got on etsy.
