So try to bear with me here:
So last week DS had his first light light tan, almost whitish poop. A few days ago we had rice and it came out whole in his diaper. Then he had hard poops the next almost 2 days. Yesterday afternoon it started to turn loose again and he wouldn't eat a whole lot besides a few slices of a clementine.
4:30 this morning he woke up crying and when we went in he had thrown up all over the place and a few pieces of the clementine came out looking like they had never gone in (if that makes sense). After he woke up from his morning nap he had another almost exposive whitish/tannish poop.
Then I googled....![]()
They talk about chalky whitish poop being a sign of liver disfunction/ not enough bile being produced. Do you think this would explain why some of his food is coming out whole?
Would you call pedi or am I being a hormonal pregnant hover mommy?
Re: Tell me I'm being neurotic.(baby poop talk)
Is it truly white like chalk? Or just light?
Light is okay. Chalky white is not.
Incidentally, clementine or mandarin orange poop sticks out in my mind as being among the nastiest. I would venture a guess that he's passing things nearly whole because he's not chewing well.
It is really light almost white. I think I will have H call. Not sure why I am being such a weirdo about calling them. I guess I feel like the crazy mother when I call the office because there was a month he was in there 3 times (he was sick, fell down the stairs and his regular 9 month check up) and it has never been anything major, thank God of course. Okay, now that I am writing it out I sound crazy. Screw it I'm calling. lol.
Thanks ladies!!!
This. For piece of mind, I would contact the pedi.
FWIW, my DD ate beans last night, and her poop this morning had whole beans in it- gross!
