I'd like M to have a pillow to sleep with at daycare when he transitions to the toddler room (next month!) and they sleep on mats on the floor. He will sometimes (occasionally) nap on the floor at home, but he always wants to have a pillow. I went to Target today, and I couldn't find any normal kid-sized pillows. Amazon has some options, but they're either organic pillows that cost $30-50, or a cheaper pillow that isn't quite right (satin pillows? no thanks). I just ordered one from Etsy, but I'm guessing I'll need a second one at some point. If someone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
Re: Pillows for kids? Where did you find one?
we just use regular, adult-size pillows
Did you see this one? It seems pretty basic, and is only $15.
You could also get one of the smaller sized Pillow Pets, like this horse.
DD has been using a cheapo Disney pillow that she got from Grandma for Christmas (with a matching sleeping bag...) It's ridiculous, but she loves it.
The girls nap in cots at their preschool, and for both of them I bought "travel" sized pillows and pillow cases at Bed Bath and Beyond. Perfect size for napping. At home we just have regular twin sized pillow on their beds from Target.
I'm fairly certain this is the one I bought for them:

We just used an old adult sized pillow that was somewhat flattened out. I think they have child-sized pillows at Ikea but then you have to get special pillow-cases and when I looked at the price, I didn't want to do it considering I can get a pillow for $5 at Target.
This is what I did for Maggie when she was little but now all they want to sleep with are their pillow pets.
DD got one as a gift but she's got a dust mite allergy and those things really attract dust, so we had to take it away. Just something to think about, throw it in the wash every few weeks.
