Does this mean I won't deliver for a while?

I'm 36weeks and 5 days. Everyone says the baby should be moving less. But my LO has been moving quite a bit still...more rolling than kicking but still, a lot of moving. DH says that means LO won't be coming for a while still...but I have heard of and seen tummy's moving around right before labor. Anyone have any experience/info about this?

I've heard that's an old wives tale. My LO is super active still so I hope it's not a sign I wont deliver soon.

decreased fetal activity in the last few weeks of pregnancy is an OWT...

OWT.

The only time I ever experienced decreased fetal movement was the day before delivery and it freaked me out so much! I had a baby in hand 24 hours later.

My last moved all the time. He even moved a bunch during labor. Every baby and pregnancy is different.

Contrary to popular belief, baby should not move less during 3rd tri. The types of movement you feel may change as baby grows and has less room. But you should still feel movement regularly.

J. was just as active as ever up to (and at the beginning of) labor.
