Re: Wedding related question NBR
This.
This. And I agree with pp, if it means so much to your brother he should pick up the tab for the rental.
Number two
I agree with this.
Yep, all this! I'm trying to think and I don't really recall the Father of the Groom wearing a tux at any weddings I went to.
It usually depends on the formality of the wedding. Is it an evening wedding at a fancy hotel? Makes me think not if it's his 2nd wedding. Regardless, your dad is expected to look nice and dressed accordingly. I think as long as he looks nice and isn't wearing jeans he can almost wear whatever he wants.
If your brother really wants him to wear a tux, he should pay.
Also, sorry but as the sibling, I think it's your place to talk to your brother on your father's behalf. I hope things get better for your dad and he finds a new job soon.
This exactly. It might be awkward for your dad to bring it up so think you might be better poised to do so. Also, congrats to your dad on losing all of the weight! Hope his job prospects pick up soon.
Just to throw this out there, it might not be your brother's opinion. I would suggest talking to his fiance, aka the one in charge of everything, and see where she's at on this topic. She might not care too much, but she might. And your brother might be passing on her sentiment in a less than stellar way. GL!
