Can I complain for a sec?
I am, and I know all you can relate, so uncomfortable and in pain. My newest thing is that now, if I sit or stand/walk for a longer period of time, I get totally dizzy and off balance. Went to the mall yesterday for about an hour just to grab my makeup and almost fainted!
I hardly sleep AT ALL anymore and working an hour away from home puts me at being gone for about 12hrs a day and I just can't take it anymore. I don't think my body can handle it and I just don't know what to do. I can't take any time off yet and work is sooo busy. It's not that I want my baby out b/c I"m unomfortable. I love all her kicks and squirms, it is just everything else that I have to deal with that is stressing me out. If I could just stay home and put my feet up whenever I want to, this would be a breeze. So I hate to admit that I want my baby sooner just b/c of other things that are stressing me out and I want to finally be done with it.
OK done
Re: Not feeling so good today
Dizzys can be caused by low blood pressure, dehydration, stuffy nose, or baby pressing up and causing short breath. If it makes you feel any better, at about 38 weeks I was having dizzy spells too. But they went away when LO changed positions and dropped a bit.
Increasing fluid intake can help blood pressure, let your nose clear a bit and help prevent or reduce swelling of feet and hands if that is becoming a problem too. Get yourself some nice, calming Tea to sip at work. Keep snacks at hand because low blood sugar can cause dizzys too.
Baby will come when its time. I know your sick of hearing that..... But don't stress about it.
Thanks
Yeah I;m definitely more thirsty these days and have increased my water intake. I snack all the time, too
LO is pretty low and I think she's pushing on some things that are not ideal. I did notice some palpitations yesterday as well (I've had some issues with that and had surgery in 2010) but that can also be completely normal during pregnancy. I will mention it to my doc on Thursday when I go in. I doubt it's anything to be concerned about it's just so tiring having to deal with it at work lol
OH and stuffy nose has been my issue since 4th week of this pregnancy. I"m sure that has something to do with it, as it is tougher to breathe as it is...
What teas do you recommend? i'm always so confused as to what I can or can't drink that I have just skipped out on teas all together.
And you are right, she will come when she decides to and I won't mess with that
Thanks much!
Sorry you're feeling so bad.
In regards to the stuffy nose - have you tried saline nose spray? It's safe to use whenever you need it, and it really helps me because there are times I just can't breathe. I use it whenever the stuffiness pops up and it really helps clear things out.
I use the saline spray all.the.time. I probably go through one bottle every 2-3 weeks. I definitely have an extreme case of stuffy nose. Thanks for the tip though
