So the post the other day about showering left me wondering something.

For you ladies who don't wash your hair every time you shower what do you do? Get it wet and still blow dry it, wear a shower cap, something else?

I feel dumb but I have no idea since I have never taken a shower without washing my hair.

I use a shower cap. If my hair gets wet it frizzes everywhere and is gross.

I am semi grossed out about not washing my hair every day but it's so dry that I really can't wash it daily.

This is me also, I sometimes even take 2 showers a day. The only time I have not washed my hair is if I straightened it that evening I will not wash it, because I don't want to mess it up. But that is even rare.

I had hair that fell about 6 inches below my shoulder. (I just got it chopped to just below my shoulder.) I would put it up in a high ponytail/bun and shower as normal. My hair was just always in a ponytail. ALWAYS.

Mine just gets bundled on top of my head. It is really dry and frizzy curls and if I wash it more than once or twice a week it grows in the wrong direction, lol. It only gets oily if I have product in it from straightening, which only really happens once or twice a month.

Mine isn't super long, so I just use headband to keep it out of my face and off my neck. Once in awhile, I'll just a shower cap.

Bun and head band for me. I hate dealing with a shower cap, but if I straightened it, I'll use one (i.e. rarely).

MH bought me a duck shower cap for my birthday last year. I use it often, his name is Ralph, Smile

MH was a little miffed when I told him that the duck was male.

My hair is quite long I pull it up in a bun twisty thing and it pretty much stays there 24/7. I do not wash it every time I shower. I might wash it every three days or so. If I do find time to wash it I usually dont have time to dry and straighten so I leave it wet and it goes in pigtails. The more you wash your hair the more you need to. If I need to go to town and having a bad hair day I just throw on a baseball cap and off I go. Wanna know a trick...if your hair is a bit "dirty" or "kinda greasy" but dont have time to wash...put a bit of baby powder in your hands and run it through your hair. It will freshen it right up.

my hair is short but for the small amount of time it takes me, I'm able to squeeze it back into a ponytail and hold the little pieces back in front of my face with a head band.

This. My hair gets so frizzy and if I wash it everyday it feels like straw. My hair doesn't get oily, I've gone 2 weeks without washing it and it's still fine.
