did your baby slow down with movements before labor?

Hi ladies...this baby has been moving NON-stop since I first felt her kicks, even yesterday she was going nuts in there with feet, arms, etc sticking out all over me. Today I can tell she has totally slowed down her movements and is kind of low key in there, even after eating a lot of carbs and drinking OJ and gatorade, she just seems more mellow.

I can't remember if DS's movements slowed down before I had him bc my water broke with him a week before my due date so I wasn't really looking for anything.

Do any of you who have already had your babies remember if the movements slowed down right before labor? I really want her to wait until Tuesday bc my OB is on call then, and I want to avoid the whole "full moon" thing (my doc said it really does get busy on full moons at my hospital).

    Both of my boys' movements decreased as they progressed and started running out of room to jab and kick :)

    If you don't get 10 movements within a couple of hours you should call and go in. Feel with your hands too, sometimes the slower more deliberate movements are hard to feel otherwise. I had a slow day last week and I went in. My doctor was pretty concerned about it but everything checked out fine.

    My baby had a couple of slow days last week but when I went to my last prenatal appointment, the doctor said the baby was fine. I'm getting induced on my due date (tomorrow) and thankfully, my baby has started moving again. He's actually more active now than he was before. Maybe this will happen to you, too...?

    Yep, that happened with my first. This baby is starting to rest up too.

    DD was a ninja baby from the beginning and labor didn't stop her. I was a week overdue so you'd think she would have run out of room, but no, she was moving around through my entire. freaking. labor. It was not comfy.
