  The First Years True Fit is on kids woot for $100. That's where we got ours. It fits okay rfing in my sister's Toyota Corolla, so I think it should fit in most cars.

  We just got the Eddie Bauer XRS 65 convertible and DS loves it. We have a stupid tiny 2 door car, but this fits perfectly, and DS seems really comfortable in it. It goes from 5-40lbs RF and up to 65lbs FF. Good luck with your search!

  We have a Britax Roundabout 55. It fits perfectly in our vehicle, even with an infant seat in the back as well.

  We have the Britax Marathon in one car, but I just ordered the Cosco Scenera for DHs car yesterday. There was a pink one on Amazon for $60

  The Alpha Omega Elite is one of the worst car seats out there and is almost universally hated by car seat techs.  I would definitely stay away from that one.  There's a list of good seats and reviews here. 

  Check out AlbeeBaby and Amazon too, they have some of the lowest prices plus free shipping and no tax.

  I have True Fits for all 3 of my kids. It fits them all well and we've never had any issues w/ seat hate. My son despised his Scenera. Completely freaked anytime we put him in it. All of that stopped when the true fit arrived.

  First Years True Fit was an awesome price, and has a GREAT safety rating. HIGHLY recommend it. Does not fit RFing in our Mazda Protege 3 if someone sits in the front passenger seat.
