Can I AW my "new" family car?

DH and I knew we wanted to replace his beat up Jeep with a safer car before Baby got here, but with us still waiting to close on our house we weren't sure it was going to be possible. We were supposed to close in November and then start looking for a car at the start of the new year. 

Well we stumbled upon a great deal we just couldn't pass up. So we jumped on it.

Here is DH's Jeep we traded in:

I am seriously loving all the space! It's a 1997 Nissan Quest. Only has 133k on it and runs great. Has brand new alloy tires and doesn't need any work done. The previous owner had no kids and said that the back seats were never used, he just got a van for the cargo space. He actually took the seats out the entire time he owned it. 

We are just so excited to have a great car in such good condition all ready to go for when Baby gets here.

    That's great!  We've been looking into bigger vehicles too (I currently drive a Versa).  I hope it runs great for you, I've been pricing different mini vans and trying to convince DH that's the best way to go.

    Yeah it took a while to convince DH of the possible idea of a van. But it's just perfect for our growing family and he now agrees. :)

    Ahhhhhhh, we car sat for a friend who was away on vacation for the past two weeks.  It was a minivan and while I loved the ease of getting DS in and out, I have now vowed to never buy a minivan.  I just cant love the way they look.  I should but I cant.

    Congrats on your car though!  I hope you love it!

    Trust me, when we were searching for a new vehicle we were NOT looking for a van. I've always kind of "looked down" on them. But like I said it was a great deal we could not pass up.

    All our friends' reactions have been hilarious so far. DH and I are 21 and 20, so you can imagine our friends are getting a kick out of the idea of our little family van. Haha.

    Pssst! GMC Acadia!  Looks like an SUV on the outside and a minivan on the inside.  We have had ours for almost a year and I love love love it.
