I don't need to read the OP for reasons such as this. I am so sorry that there are ignorant people in this world constantly pushing their politics down others throats. What an absolutely horrible human being. Sorry you had to deal with this.

I am truly hoping that wasn't pointed towards me because I am 100% sure that at NO point in my post did I say that anyone was being "mean", nor did I defend what the OP posted and I openly admitted that I did not get a chance to read the post because it was DD. My statement was merely why everyone felt a need to make a big deal out of this post when I see posts on the tri boards ALL the time where someone is trying to push an agenda...(i.e. moms opposed to epidurals, EBF's calling out those who use formula, etc....)

Also from reading all of the posts I gather that the ACTUAL video wasn't posted within the post so therefore in order to see this video you had to click a link and unless the OP posted the link under false pretenses those of you that saw the video CHOSE to do so by clicking the link.....SO in my opinion it is incredibly silly to read a post, click a link to a video you KNOW is about abortion (or any controversial topic) and then be appalled by what you see and come back to talk about how appalling it was and how the link should have never been posted.

People that post things like that are just like trolls and those who post MUD, they are seeking out attention (whether good or bad) and by giving them what they want it just feeds them to continue doing it. That was all I was saying...I was at NO point trying to be the "nice police"

Wow, all I can say is after 1/2 second of watching that I had to cut it off. Completely disgusting, ruined my whole day. Maybe she thought she meant well, but we all know about abortions, we darn sure don't want to see a video of it. I obviously never should have opened that post but I really wish I would have never even got on the bump today, way to make a bunch of pregnant ladies feel so incredibly ill.

Why would you post something like that on a 2nd Trimester pregnancy board? We have all had ultrasounds at this point and are well aware of what they look like. We also probably aren't the target audience if you are trying to prevent abortions or whatever it is you are trying to do.

Reading the posts, I am SO happy I didn't see the original thread.... That being said, why would someone feel the need to post an abortion video on a board of pregnant woman, most who have tried and tried for their babies? What was the point? Abortion is a touchy subject with just about anyone... It just shouldn't be talked about along with religion or politics....

This. I, for one, am incredibly thankful that I did not see this post.. as I would have had a mouthful to say.. and probably spent hours sobbing..secondly.. you have NO idea your audience.. though I am very much pro-life.. I am understanding that there are situations in which this is not always the most feasible option.. and, for women who have been in that situation.. women who have struggled with those decisions.. women who were not given a CHOICE about those decisions.. I can guarantee if they had clicked your link it would have re-opened that wound

So disrespectful. To each their own, as far as opinions go.. but to post something SO vivid, and vulgar.. on a PREGNANCY forum..

Ugh, I could really, REALLY go off here.. I wonder if you have any idea the emotional disturbances termination can result in.. many, MANY women suffer serious mental health issues after being faced with that decision.. and at some point or another in the grieving process, MANY women will TORTURE themselves by watching one of those videos.. arghhhhhhh.. just going to stop myself before I go any further.

What kind of psycho posts an abortion video on a forum of women who are OBVIOUSLY NOT HAVING ABORTIONS? Did she just think we would like to see what a dead fetus looked like? I am glad she was properly railed. She should be banned.

For those who were disturbed by the video, it's worth digging deeper. I missed the post, but like pp, I assume it was "the silent scream." The video has been refuted by the medical community. The images are manipulated so that they seem to show things that aren't medically possible. Obviously, this is not the place to debate the topic, but it's important to educate yourself on what you're looking at and come to your own conclusions.

I'm so, so sorry for those who had to relive their own horrible experiences as a result of this post. Hopefully OP is in permanent hiding now.
