So dd is a very picky eater.
I have tried ALOT of different foods with her. Chicken nuggets, turkey lunch meat, fruit cups, etc. She doesn't like a lot of these foods. I even tried the food from Gerber that you heat up. She won't touch those.
She loves her oatmeal, bananas, pasta, american cheese, yogurt, puffs (yes she will still eat those), gold fish and the toddler cookies.
I want her to eat more. But I am not sure what to try....any suggestions. Please ladies help. I don't know what to give her anymore.
Re: Needing Food Ideas
LO loves chicken and rice. Big fan of chicken pot pie. Maybe try more of a non breaded chicken and see if she'll eat it.
LO also LOVES pasta. Rav's. Noodles. ...perogies (sp)
I have a very picky eater too. I have tried many things to get her to eat proteins uch as beans and meat. She will eat a thin slice of ham or turkey IF I slide it into her grilled cheese sandwich and cut it up so that if she bites down, the entire piece of meat doesn't come out of the sandwich. I can get her to eat white beans (Cannellini) by smashing them into a paste and adding it to her mac n cheese (it actually improves the flavor). She will also eat baked chicken and turkey if I chop it up, mix it into cream cheese and smear it on toast to make a sandwich.
Our LO also loves avocado and pear but they have to be very ripe. Even if it is a little green, she will not eat it.
If I give her anything with onions or garlic she actually gags. This is odd because my husband and I eat pretty much anything and we love onion and garlic.
I am going to check out some of the sites that were suggested above. Let me know if you find anything that works. It is frustrating.
