Our dr. recommends it, but it's only optional. The doctor I saw today is learning to do it from one of the other doctors that's not doing it anymore, so we get a free NT scan from him. If we want a "real" one, we have to go somewhere else to get it done. Since it's optional, I don't think Insurance will pay for it, so we will see how much it is before doing it. But at least we get one free!
I did a NT scan because its not invasive and I got to see the babies!! However, I honestly don't think its necessary. I'm not going to do any further testing if they come back abnormal.

We had a NT scan done and loved everyone moment of it ... We got to hear the heart beat and saw it wave one or twice
So if you have the option I would go for it, just so that you can see your baby move around
